8-28-10 Downsville Day: Live Music

Discover Downsville Day:
SATURDAY, AUGUST 28th at 6:30
LIVE MUSIC TO FINISH OFF THE DAY

Come out and get a little local Downsville flavor on Saturday, August 28th. A yearly happening and always a festive day in Downsville! This year we have live entertainment all day and into the night.  The festivities begin at 10:00 with a parade. Food and live music outside on the lawn at The Creamery begins at noon. Later in the afternoon we have the Blind Owls at 4:00 p.m. (Spring Valley, WI duo) and that evening at 7:00 p.m. our lovely friend, Carolyn Young and her band (Minneapolis folks, Jezabel and The Roys). Our other beautiful friend, Herby from Bullfrog Fish Farm will be serving up trout sandwiches out front which can be enjoyed with a cold glass of local brew.  A relaxed day here at The Creamery and a wonderful way to support Downsville!

Lunch at The Creamery

NEW LUNCH MENU
New menu: New lunch: Great space:

Our new lunch style and menu has gained guests’ approval!

We have many guests who have enjoyed the informality of our deli-style Cafe and Bakery. The bikers and hikers as well as those  looking for a great ice cream find the walk-up counter easy and inviting! Conversely, we have had a number of guests express to us that they miss a more “formal” lunch.

We were compelled to add a more extensive lunch menu with “tableside” service:  Thursday and Friday’s focus is on “lunch” type items such as seasonal pastas, salads, sandwiches and housemade pizzas. Saturday and Sunday the focus is expanded to include brunch options such as  pancakes, french toast, trout cake eggs benedict and quiche.

Thanks to our guests for the feedback! We truly focus on giving our guests the best experience possible. We always appreciate input that can enhance all of our guests’ experience.
